As many as five players shared the lead Sunday at the Sanford International, and Miguel Angel Jiménez broke away from the pack with an eagle and birdie on the par 5s on the back nine. He posted a 5-under 65 and a one-shot victory to become the 39th player with at least 10 wins on PGA TOUR Champions. Winner of the season-opening Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai, Jiménez became the first player with two victories this season. This is his third straight multi-win season, and his streak of seven straight years with a victory is the second-longest active streak (14, Bernhard Langer). It is the third time Jiménez has won in his tournament debut (2014 Mitsubishi Electric Classic, 2015 Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai, 2020 Sanford International).
